Service Projects

The Harrison County Chapter of West Virginia Master Gardeners offers several, ongoing, volunteer projects for its members. These include, but are not limited to:

Spring Clinic
Plant-A-Row
Salem Community Garden
Hospice Garden
Phone Committee
Scrapbook Committee
West Virginia State Fair
WV Day at the Legislature
By-law Committee
State Board Representative
Officer for the Club
Teach a Master Gardener Class
Community Education
WV Industrial Home for Youth Master Gardener Training Program
Support the Cookbook Project—on sale in November!

These opportunities make it easier to accumulate your required volunteer hours. Just as importantly, they provide a means to interact and socialize with fellow Master Gardeners. If you are interested in a community service activity not listed above, please call (304-624-8650) or e-mail the Extension Agent for approval.
