Community Educational Outreach Service (CEOS)
The Harrison County Community Educational Outreach Service is composed of 22 clubs who meet on a regular basis to receive up-to-date educational information, participate in community outreach projects, and leadership development opportunities. Club sizes vary from small to very large. Some clubs meet in homes, others in churches, town halls or community rooms. Each club decides the amount of dues for operating expenses. County and state dues are a total of $10.
The Cooperative Extension Service serves as an educational arm of West Virginia University and is an active partner to the CEOS, providing expertise and educational collaboration that benefits the local CEOS Clubs. Programs and activities offered by the West Virginia University Extension Service are available to all persons without regard to race, color, sex, disability, religion, age or national origin.
Call the WVU/Harrison County Extension office at 304-624-8650 to become a club member, a member-at-large, or even start your own club. Information and materials are available at your request.Download the 2014 CEOS Club List
