How to reach the Harrison County WVU Extension Office

From I-79 take Exit 119 (U.S. Rt. 50) West towards Clarksburg.

Take 2nd Street exit off of U.S Rt. 50 West and travel 2 blocks to the intersection of Main Street and 2nd Street. The WVU-Harrison County Extension Office is located on the 6th floor of the Harrison County Courthouse which is located at the corner of Main Steet and 2nd Street.

Or

If traveling east on U.S. Rt. 50, you will need to take the 3rd Street exit and then turn left at the first stop sign.

Travel 1 block to 2nd Street and turn right onto 2nd Street. Follow 2nd Street to the intersection with Main Street.

Parking

Metered parking is available along Main and 2nd Streets. It is also available in the city parking lot behind the courthouse on Washington Street adjacent to the YWCA.

How to Reach the Harrison County Recreation Complex – 4-H Center

From Interstate 79: Take exit 119 and travel on Rt. 50 heading West. Follow directions from Rt. 50 traveling West

From Interstate 77: Take exit 176 and travel on Rt. 50 heading East. Follow directions from Rt. 50 traveling East

From Rt. 50 traveling West: Follow Rt. 50 West into Clarksburg. As you travel through Clarksburg on Rt. 50 on your way towards Parkersburg, you will come to a traffic light at Rt. 98. Turn left onto Rt. 98 following Hospital signs to United Hospital Center. After passing the hospital entrance you will come to another traffic light (Food Lion and CVS are across the intersection). Turn right onto Rt. 19 south. Go about 1 mile, passing Rosebud Shopping Center. The Harrison County Recreation Complex and 4-H Center will be on your left and Sunny Croft Country Club will be on your right. If you drive past Country Club Chrysler Car Dealership you’ve gone too far.

From Rt. 50 traveling East. Follow Rt. 50 East towards Clarksburg. As you approach Clarksburg on Rt. 50 you will come to a traffic light at Rt. 98. Turn right onto Rt. 98 following Hospital signs to United Hospital Center. After passing the hospital entrance you will come to another traffic light (Food Lion and CVS are across the intersection).
